The former Dover middle-man has vast amounts of non-league experience having played for Aldershot and Luton in the Conference Premier.
The 25-year-old midfielder began his career as a youngster with Histon, making over 100 appearances for the Cambridgeshire side and finding the net 14 times. Stevenson played every league match in the 2011-12 season, finishing the following season as Histon’s top scorer with 11 goals from 45 appearances.
In May 2013 Stevenson signed for Luton Town in the Conference Premier on a two-year contract. During a two-year spell, however, he only made 16 appearances for the Hatters, scoring one goal.
During those two years with the Hatters, Stevenson spent loan spells with Dartford and Aldershot Town. The midfielder made 23 appearances with Dartford during his spell with the Darts, finding the net in a 1-1 draw at Welling United. Stevenson returned to Luton, however was dispatched to Aldershot in January, scoring three times from 14 appearances.
The midfielder turned his temporary stay with the Shots permanent in June 2015, making his debut in a 2-1 defeat to Gateshead. Stevenson joined Dover Athletic following Gary Waddock’s appointment at Aldershot.
The Histon youngster joined the Whites in May 2016, making his debut in a 0-0 draw at Wrexham. Stevenson spent a brief spell on-loan with Southport last season, before being recalled in April having scored once in eleven appearances.
