Clarets drawn at home in FA Cup

Chelmsford City have been drawn at home to Ramsgate or Egham Town in the second qualifying round of this season’s FA Cup. The game will take place on Saturday 16th September with a 3pm kick off.

The two sides drew 3-3 at Ramsgate on Saturday and will face off in the replay tomorrow night.

Ramsgate play in the Isthmian Division One South, whilst Egham ply their trade in the Southern League Division One East.

City last faced Ramsgate back in 2008, during our Isthmian Premier Division winning campaign. The two sides drew 1-1 at Melbourne Park in April 2008 and The Rams finished 5th that season, qualifying for the play-offs, losing out to AFC Wimbledon in the semi-finals.
