Clarets make early dip into transfer market

Amos Nasha joins

Chelmsford City have made their first signing of the summer, bringing in midfielder Amos Nasha from Concord Rangers.

Nasha, who joined the Beachboys in January 2017 from Dover Athletic, started his career in the West Ham youth set-up, making 4 appearances in Europa League qualifying matches for the first team before leaving Upton Park.

Nasha’s departure from Concord is likely to be the first of many, as the club’s new management duo have already stated their intentions to overhaul the squad, signing around six new faces in their first week in charge.

He becomes Rod Stringer’s first signing of the summer having made 54 appearances and scoring 5 goals for Concord.

Joe Anderson signs

Also joining the club this evening is former Maidstone player Joe Anderson.

The 28-year-old defender started his career in the youth systems at Chelsea and Fulham before moving to Lincoln City in 2010.

Anderson has a number of local non-league club’s on his CV too, with spells at Hornchurch and Billericay, followed by a short stint at Cambridge United, before settling at Bromley for four seasons. During his time with Bromley, Anderson amassed well over 150 appearances, before joining Maidstone last summer.

Following the 2017-18 campaign, he was released by the Stones from whom he joined City this evening.
