Goalkeeper Ross Warner has joined the Clarets on a season-long loan deal from Sutton United.
Starting his career at Woking, Worner made 61 league appearances for the club before earning a move to Charlton Athletic in 2010. He featured 9 times for the Addicks before moving to Aldershot at the end of the 2010-11 season.
After a season between the sticks, the stopper had brief loan spells with Eastbourne Borough and Farnborough before joining AFC Wimbledon in 2013. He soon became first choice for the Dons during their League Two campaign and went on to make 50 league appearances, despite two short loan spells with Woking in 2014.
In 2015 Worner joined Sutton United and helped them win promotion from the National South in his debut season. The following year he maintained his spot in the side as Sutton finished mid-table in the National League and featuring in their much publicised FA Cup campaign, including the games against Leeds United and Arsenal.
After losing his spot for the 2017-18 season, he joins City on loan for the 2018-19 campaign in order to play regularly again.
