Redwood Looking Towards Play-Offs for Next Season

This season has been a big improvement on and off the pitch than the previous one. Do you think the club can keep this up and push on next season?
Yeah the improvements have been good and have played a massive role in this season. With the team/players we have plus a few additions we will definitely push on and make a good account for play-offs/promotion.

You have also picked up the Goal of the Season award. Did you expect to win that award?
It was good to pick up that award. To be honest I weren’t sure. There were a lot of great goals this season as you saw. I am just happy the fans thought I had scored the best out of the bunch.

You have mainly played as a left back since joining the club, but you have been playing at left mid on occasion. Do you prefer left mid or do you prefer left back?
I don’t mind to be fair I like either position. It’s good to be versatile but I am more of a forward thinking player. Left wing back would probably be perfect 🙂

You started your career at Brighton and then moved to Brentford. Do you have aspirations of returning to the Football League?
Yes I did at one stage but since the birth of my son I’ve been thinking more on the future for my family. But yeah of course it would be great to return one day.

Do you have any hobbies outside of football?
Not really. Between football, work and my family it’s hard to find the time. But I still do Personal Training and exercise with old clients externally so you could say that’s a hobby.

What has been your favourite moment playing for City?
Probably beating Ebbsfleet on their own patch. It was a great game to play in after they beat us a few games before. We played really well and together the team enjoyed the victory.
