Miller shouldn’t be a “new face”. The right-back joined City at the beginning of last season, but after citing “personal” reasons, never featured for the club, instead representing East Thurrock United for the first half of the campaign before re-joining Bishop’s Stortford in January.

The 26-year-old defender started his career in the youth academy at West Ham at the age of 8, playing alongside Freddie Sears, Jordan Spence and Junior Stanislas before unfortunately failing to graduate to senior football. Joining Bishop’s Stortford initially on loan in 2008, Miller moved to the Herfordshire club permanently in 2013 and played more than 70 times for the Blues, earning Player of the Year and the Manager’s Player of the Year awards for the 2014-15 campaign.

After making 32 appearances during the 2016-17 campaign, Miller left the club at the end of the season, only to rejoin at the end of August following the departure of Chris Bush to Ebbsfleet United.
