Two in and one retained

City continued with their early transfer business this evening by adding 2 new faces to the squad, and retaining the services of one of last year’s top performers.

Joining from Maidstone is Jai Reason, following in the footsteps of Maidstone teammate Tom Wraight.

The attacking midfielder managed 3 goals in over 40 games for the Stones last season.

Also arriving at the club is Alex Akrofi. The attacking winger scored 34 times in 68 appearances for Tonbridge Angels in the Bostik Premier Division last season as they finished 11th.

Prior to that, Akrofi played a massive part in Maidstone United’s promotion from the National South.

More importantly for many fans was the re-signing of Michael Spillane. Spillane, who won numerous awards last year including Supporters Player of the Season.

Spillane made 45 appearances for the Clarets last year, netting an impressive 8 goals in the process.
